otavalo

Sorry I didn't post over the weekend. My handsome husband left this morning (before I woke up) for a missions trip down to Otavalo, Ecuador. He is going to be handing out shoe boxes full of gifts to the children there. :) It is with a program called Operation Christmas Child- every Christmas they gather a ton of boxes that people have lovingly filling with toys, candy, and essentials (like soap, socks, toothpaste, etc) and send them out across the world to children in need. He will be in Otavalo for most of his trip- above is a picture of Otavalo and an precious little boy from Ecuador. :)My husband will be there for about a week... and it is going to be unbelievably lonely. :( But I'm proud of him... He is doing awesome things down there! So this weekend I was spending every moment with him and helping him pack (I'm not sure he would know what to do without me when it comes to packing!). I should be here all week though. :D
