amika Blow Up Spray.

2013_0829_amikablowoutI’m a bit on the uptight side about my hair. My crazy curly locks have a complete mind of their own (it is pretty much a love hate relationship). For the longest time it was a full on hate relationship- until I learned how to work with them. These days though I'm pretty hesitant to try new hair products- but I was sent a sample of amika's Obliphica Blow Up Spray about a week ago (via the Birchbox program) and decided to give it a try.

Based on old-world Russian herbal remedies harnessing Obliphica (Sea Buckthorn Berry) oil to enrich and replenish dull tired hair. The shine spray creates a weightless surface layer that conditions and protects hair from environmental damage and pollution. The shine spray has a high concentration of Obliphica oil. Obliphica oil, know for its regenerative and toning properties, nourishes the hair follicle and restores hairs' natural moisture and balance. Also enriched with Moroccan Argan oil, Vitamin E, Phenols, and Carotene plus Pro-vitamin B5. loveamika.com // Blow Up Spray

I must say... I am very impressed with this product. I highly recommend it. It protects my generally dry curly locks from damage from my blow dryer while adding a little shine and lift. I've tried a couple products that promised to add volume and lift... but this one actually created enough of a lift that I noticed it the first day. Plus- no parabens! I love that. :)This kind of feels like one of those unfair Jack (and Master) of All Trades kind of situations.
