Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner

2013_1120_eyekoeyeliner My birchbox this month brought me something that quite literally changed my makeup routine for good (no it did not change my life). I must be a little behind in this discovery- but I received Eyeko's Skinny Liquid Liner. The amazing part for me honestly was the felt tip applicator on this eyeliner - like a marker.I prefer liquid eyeliners over pencil liners hands down- but it takes time and quite a bit of my concentration. I'm not sure why I have yet tried or stumbled across a felt tip liquid eyeliner pen until I received Eyeko's sample in my birchbox. Honestly- I don't really ever want to go back to a brush applicator.The morning I tried it out my husband walked into the bathroom and looked at me shocked and asked what I had done to my eyes to make them look so sharp. Then we went on about how amazing my eyes looked. That -my friends- is probably the best feeling ever. I don't know about you, but my husband doesn't tend to notice the little specifics about my makeup or wardrobe. Mind you- he notices the big things like when I dye my hair or straighten it- he even notices new shoes or outfits. A makeup change though? Nope.That of course made me love the eyeliner- for my husband to have his jaw drop (figuratively lol) to the floor makes anything a keeper. So I decided I would buy it as soon as my sample ran out... which (here comes the down fall) was only about two days later. It ran out so fast I was shocked. I realized it must not be the full size bottle- but when I did a little research I discovered that the full size isn't much bigger. Darn it.So I'm not on the hunt for an awesome liquid eyeliner with a felt tip... that has a better value (maybe that's not possible - I don't know). So you will probably see a few more product review related to my search. Bear with me! Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.
