a beautifully restored kitchen

I'm on a home planning and decor kick. I think ever since my handsome hubby and I decided we wanted to build a house... the excitement is just bubbling over. There is a lot to decide and plan to get this ball rolling- and I like to be very prepared (especially when it comes to dreaming about houses).Anyway- I stumbled across this beautiful little restored barn house (from the 1920s). There are some beautiful elements about it, but not everything is perfect about the house for what I want in my home. I very much liked the kitchen in particular. The bones of kitchen really- the wood beams, huge windows (I can't get enough of huge windows), and the beautiful wood-fired oven. :D

Look at the before and after shot- so it wasn't a complete and massive change. It was actually (generally speaking) a small addition to the old house. Such a beautiful result though don't you think? Lovely, lovely.

I found this lovely find on Dwell so you can see it too if you click here!
